Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress who hails from Manama, Bahrain and was born into a multi-ethnic household. Jacqueline's father Elroy is from Sri Lanka (Catholic Sinhalese) and her mother Kim is Malaysian. There are two older brothers, and two younger ones. Her parents relocated to Bahrain during the 1980s because of the Lankan tensions and she was born and raised in Bahrain. Schooling was finished within Bahrain and she received a Scholarship to attend an education at University of Sydney. There she earned the Media and Communications degree. An avid lover of different cultures and languages, she attended Berlitz Language School where she learned Spanish and honed her French and Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 was crown in March 2006; she also took part in Miss Universe 2006 In 2006, she took home her the Miss Sri Lanka title. Then, she stepped into the world of television, hosting the show about Sri Lankan companies named Lanka Business Report. Padukone was born to tennis star Prakash Padukone. She was brought up in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. When she was a teenager she competed in badminton at National level competitions. She later resigned her career in the sport to become a fashion model. Padukone has Mangalorean origins and speaks Konkani as her mother tongue. Padukone is located in the Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is an international champion in badminton who retiring. Her mother is a travel agent.
